Family-owned since 1998, they design, manufacture and supply engineered structures for the nation’s largest road, rail, resource and construction projects, operating four factories nationally, with more than 50,000 tonnes manufactured and over 25 years in the industry. They are the supplier of choice for leading resource companies, civil engineers and building contractors across Australia.
A family-owned business established in 1998, Roundel has grown into the supplier of choice for the country’s leading resource companies, civil engineers and building contractors. Their previous website no longer reflected the size of their operations – four factories, national on-site manufacturing capability, and more than 50,000 tonnes of product delivered. We reimagined the site to convey that scale and technical authority, and to make it effortless for a specification-driven audience to find exactly what they need.
Roundel’s product range is technical and specification-driven, and their audience of engineers, contractors and project teams needs precise information fast. The previous website under-represented the true breadth of their capability and made it difficult to navigate between product types, applications, market sectors and case studies – leaving the scale of the operation, and its national footprint, hard to appreciate at a glance.
We took the time to understand Roundel’s business, their customers and the technical nature of their products before redesigning. We restructured the sitemap around how their audience actually searches – organising content by product, application and market sector – and built a clear, user-friendly architecture that surfaces the right information at every stage. The result speaks directly to engineers, contractors and project teams, while reinforcing Roundel’s brand and national standing.
